By Dave (Lord Junibalya)
The Limoncello Art Gallery in Sirinial is expanding beyond the prims Bellisseria offers above my houseboat. The main gallery will remain a Belli institution but we have added a mainland annex (annex in US/Canadian English) in the huge old primmy airship where the gallery lived for many years.
If you have visited the "Limoncello" art gallery in Bellisseria you will know that it opened this year as a new version of a gallery that existed for many years on mainland. It used to be housed in a 125 meter long airship (in its day the largest moving vehicle in SL) moored above the Nanga region on Satori (aka the Japanese continent).

The airship was named "Limoncello" in tribute to a friend who blogged from Sicily under that name and the new gallery was named after the old vessel.
Gallery owner Lord Junibalya ("Dave" to his friends) has squeezed a lot of content into the new gallery and has even staged a special exhibition there using displays that can feature 8 works on one prim. The collection keeps growing however and *something* had to give. There's only so much you can do with a LInden Home prim allowance, especially if you are trying to keep a nice houseboat home and a sailboat or two there!
So Dave has bought back some of Nanga – enough to moor the airship there again. He's not closing the Bellisseria gallery because he enjoys providing an entertainment resource for his neighbors there. The plan is to use the old airship (stripped of its cabins to make huge exhibition spaces on each of three decks) as an annex.
She's already refurbished, de-primmed and aloft over her old home region. Dave and his co-curator Fenella Allen will be working out a new hanging scheme for the now-much-larger gallery. In the meantime, come and take a look at a vehicle that is part of the history of Second Life and now part of its future too.

Please join the "Limoncello Friends" group to be kept up to date with progress and to be invited to the relaunch party in due course.
Thanks for the write-up! We hope to see your readers at the gallery soon. All the best, Dave.
