I get this question a lot and you probably do too so I thought I should write an article you could share with all those that ask. Refer them to this page and hopefully they will find Bellisseria just as amazing as you and I do!
SO WHAT IS BELLISSERIA AND WHAT IS ALL THE HYPE ABOUT?
I'm glad you asked and hopefully this will answer most if not all your questions about what Bellisseria is and how you too can be part of this amazing community.
First, Bellisseria is, like I said, an amazing community. It is Premium Members that all live together in a large continent called Bellisseria. This continent is all connected by roadways, waterways and trails that is easy to travel, easy to gather and easy to make awesome new friends. It is basically a very large connected continent with all premium member housing that creates a wonderful community with activities and a social life.
SO HOW DO I GET A HOME IN BELLISSERIA? (I'm so glad you asked!)
First, in order to live in Bellisseria, you must buy an Second Life premium membership. You can find this link on your dashboard by first signing into your second life account: www.secondlife.com then follow the steps:
1. on the left side under your name click "Account"
2. then select "Premium Membership" Follow the steps to sign up and pay for your annual membership. ($99 US/ year)
(Benefits for the cost of your membership includes a free Linden home, dedicated private sandboxes to members only, free gifts and $300L Lindens into your account weekly as one of many benefits)
Note: Within the 52 week year you receive a total of $15,600L in stipend funds (your $300L weekly), this totals about $60+ US in lindens!
HOW DO I GET A BELLISSERIA COMMUNITY HOME?
Right now there are SIX types of Bellisseria homes you can get.
1. Traditional Home (nice community traditional houses connecting street ways) 351 prim allotment
2. Houseboats (located in the water on slips and docks, some connected to the land and some connected to little islands) 351 prim allotment
3. Camper Trailer Home
4. Victorian Home
5. Log Cabin Home
6. Stilt Home
Because of the high demand residents will constantly check your "Get A Home" button on your dashboard and hope for a home. Many new Bellisseria homes get abandoned daily for various reasons and sometimes by chance you might see the one you've been hoping for come available if you didn't see it right away so be patient.
WHAT DOES THE CONTINENT LOOK LIKE?
Go to your maps on your SL screen and type in the FIND section:
Welby Corner (a random sim in Bellissera for reference point)
Then pan out so you can see the entire continent. It looks a little like a penguin with a dolphin tail when you pan all the way out. It is still growing so this is the real time growth of the continent. It's pretty darn big with over 1000 regions together including sail-able protected waterways for sailing, surfing and water sports! (Maps is currently having some issues but we hope this gets fixed soon, you might be able to only see a bit at a time)

I recommend joining the "Bellisseria Citizens Group" first and start there. It is the largest community group with information about Bellisseria and connects you to everyone in Bellisseria. You can ask questions about Bellisseria there and get some great answers from citizens, Moles and Lindens!
